Hey Naperville, are you ready for Daylight Saving Time? That's right, we are spring ahead this very weekend. Come Sunday morning at 2am, the clocks will spring ahead one hours. Sure, we'll lose an hour of sleep, but isn't it worth it for having the sun staying out a bit later? Let me answer that for you. Of course it is! Hate Daylight Saving Time? If that's the case, why don't you call some Naperville movers and head to Arizona where the clocks don't change.

Winter Isn't Over Yet
With this winter being so mild, it has been tough not to get ahead of ourselves with thoughts of spring. Unfortunately, winter is about to rear it's ugly head around for at least one more time. According to the National Weather Service, a winter storm watch is currently in effect until Friday morning with accumulations of six inches or more possible. Sigh. Yeah, you heard that right. I hope you didn't tuck that shovel away into the basement, because you'll be needed it again. Maybe it is finally time to call a Naperville office moving company for your business. That or at least some Naperville IL movers to get out of this climate.

Winter Woes Nonexistent
Everyone has been talking about this unusual, snowless winter we have been having. The warmer than normal temperatures are an added bonus. The long-range forecasts point to a warmer and wetter March than we are used to in the Chicagoland area. The Naperville movers are excited to hear these predictions.
The Naperville moving company is used to taking winter precautions during moves, such as making sure the walkways are shoveled before the move-out process begins. This year we haven't had to worry too much about slippery conditions or snow-covered sidewalks. We hope the land continues to be barren until the spring warm-up leads us into the summer months.

Naperville School Boundaries Updated
If you're moving with children to Naperville, it may be in your best interests to view the school boundary maps before doing so. The Naperville School District recently redrew boundaries to alleviate overcrowding in some of the north side schools and to make room for new programs such as all-day kindergarten. Do research on the schools in Naperville's district before you contact a Naperville moving company for your upcoming move.

Only 8 chickens per property in Naperville
Own chickens and plan on relocating to Naperville? Well, before you call a Naperville moving company, be warned that the Naperville City Council has decided that you can only own eight chickens. Have nine chickens? Sorry, one has to go, even if you've already given it a name. Also, there must be a 30-foot separation between the chicken coop and a neighbor's house. So, if you own chickens, you may want to think twice before getting in touch with any Naperville moving companies.

Man Tries to Bite Naperville Bouncers
Some people just are not rabid fans of Naperville. (Sorry for the pun.) If you've ever been to downtown Naperville, you know that things can get out of hand every now and then. This past Saturday, a 23-year-old man was charged with attempted battery after he tried to bite two bouncers who were trying to eject him from the Naperville bar Rizzo's. The man, from Michigan, had apparently been drinking and wasn't going to be rejected from Rizzo's without a fight. Fortunately, no one was hurt in the scuffle and the man remains free on bond. I'm sure the Michigan man won't be contacting a Naperville moving company any time soon.

Naperville Installing New Electricity Meters
It's a sign of the times with Naperville moving to install new smart meter grid technology for all of its electricity consumers. The city is installing wireless devices at homes and businesses which will help them monitor electricity consumption and will eliminate the need for tradition meter readers. This $22 million project has some Naperville residents up in arms. They feel that with this service, they are losing their privacy and are worried about the radio frequency exposure from the meters. While these may be valid concerns, Naperville plans to go forward with the installation. Expect to see this sort of system show up in various other locations across the country, but if you want to be one of the first to check it out, call up a Naperville moving company today.
