New Bridge to Connect 95th St. and Boughton Rd.

After 10 years of planning, the Will County Highway Department is moving forward with their plan to extend 95th St. in Naperville over the DuPage River to Boughton Rd. in Bolingbrook. This project will reduce travel time by 1.1 miles from the intersection of Bougthon and Kings Roads in Bolingbrook to 95th St. and Plainfield-Naperville Rd. in Naperville. In addition to the plans for the bridge, a tunnel will be built underneath 95th St. for the DuPage River Trail and will include a bikeway. This $22 million project will begin the summer of 2012 and continue into 2013. This is a shortcut that we can get behind. Losing over 2 miles during a roundtrip will help us be an even more efficient Naperville moving company.
